It’s our 15th Year Anniversary! Bringing you the BEST in independent horror! WOW! What a ride it’s been! From our humble beginnings with the horror convention Spooky Empire, to becoming THE Premiere Horror Genre Film Festival in the US! Maybe even the World! It’s been a great journey and we couldn’t have done it without YOU the Horror Fan! In addition, we also could not have had this anniversary without the wonderfully talented Filmmakers that continue to surprise and entertain us.
We never in a million year thought that this festival would become one of the top 5 horror genre film festivals in the US. Or that the festival would be screening films in a state of the art theater with digital projection and dolby surround sound. For instance, when we started the festival 15 years ago, we only had a small screen and one speaker to screen films in a small convention room. That’s a big jump!
However, putting on a film festival is no easy task. We work on the event all year not just in October. Therefore, it’s been non-stop for us for 15 years. And you know what? We have loved every minute of it! The joy of seeing all the Horror Fans and meeting all the different filmmakers from all over the world is SO worth all the hard work we put into the festival.
Above all, we wanted to THANK each and everyone of you that has attended the festival over the years! A GREAT BIG THANKS to all the Filmmakers who make the festival such a joy every year. We hope that you will continue to support us as we continue to support filmmakers. Hopefully for another 15 years!
