We challenge screenwriters to bring something new and exciting to the horror genre! Think different!
Submission Details
We are looking for short form screenplays that are no longer than 30 pages. Scripts must be Un-Produced and must be in the Horror/Sci-Fi genre.
Format
The script must be in standard screenplay format. Please make sure you’ve spell checked the entire screenplay.

Free passes
Accepted screenplay writers receive 2 VIP Weekend Passes. Additional passes can be purchased at a 50% discount. *Unfortunately, the Festival does not provide room, board or travel for Screenwriters.
Competition
Accepted screenplays will be in completion to win the FREAKY AWARD for BEST SHORT SCREENPLAY. All accepted screenplays for competition will be listed on the FREAK SHOW Horror Film Festival Website.
FREAKY AWARD
The BEST SHORT SCREENPLAY winner will receive the FREAKY AWARD during the Awards Ceremony at the festival in October. If the screenwriter is unable to attend the ceremony, the award will be mailed to the screenwriter. Winners will also be listed on the FREAK SHOW website.
